If you are looking for an adventure book that has fun on every page, you should check out THE ACCIDENTAL CHEERLEADER. It's about two seventh-grade girls who try out for cheerleading, but what they don't know is that one of them made it onto the squad and the other is stuck being the school mascot.

After tryouts everything went downhill. Sophie doesn't know if the life of a cheerleader is her thing. What if her best bud, Kyle, isn't having fun? Should she stay with the most popular girls in school (and on the squad) or should she go back with her real friends? If she goes back to hanging out with Kyle, will she forgive Sophie for using her?

I think you should read this book because it has non-stop action! I give it 5 stars!

THE ACCIDENTAL CHEERLEADER is a FANTASTIC book. Sophie and Kylie are best friends, but they both try out for the cheerleading team. Sophie is a cheerleader,but Kylie is the mascot. They get into a fight. They say they don't want to be friends and everything is ruined. Will Sophie and Kylie be friends again? I have to say that this book came out of left field. The first two novels are vampire stories that I really enjoyed. This novel is about angels and demons. There is more than one reason for my 3 star review.

Author, Mallory Crowe really changed it up and I really don't understand why this book is a part of this series, other than the small bit of information about where vampires came from and the orbs that makes their invasion possible. This book was an okay story but it didn't engage my emotions like the first two.

Muriel a "fallen" angel did not make sense. How could a demon stop an angel? In my life, God always wins. Kier, how would a demon become not a demon? Sorry not buying.

In this series, Ms. Crowe had stayed away from the new trend of making erotica the main reason for the romance between two beings. This book has a lot more erotic content that I find repetitive and boring. I know some folks enjoy that, but I just skip through most of it because there is really nothing new in erotic scenes. The more erotica the less I like the book since paranormal authors seem to think sex is a plot line. Ahh contraire, it is not.

The first two books seemed almost possible, could it happen? This book, not so much. I had a hard time finishing this book, it didn't hold my attention and took longer to read. The above reasons are what cost 2 stars. I really didn't care about Muriel or Kier. After reading "Daring Fire" and "Binding Fire", I was hooked and paid $3.99 for each book in the series. I normally do not do that unless I really, really like a series. Now I kinda feel duped.

Enough whining, I am not fond of this book in the series. Each book could stand alone and so I don't think I would have purchased this book if I had read the excerpt, but I never read excerpts.

You are on your own with this book. I am sure there are many who will like it. I don't think young adults should read this due to erotic content. I have purchased the next book already so I will start the next one now. See you on the flip side.

Binding Fire, what a great fantastic read, full of excitement, mystery and a real ass kicking fallen angel who is now mortal or demon? Muriel was once a soldier of heaven, everything she was told to do she would. As an angel she had no free will, her job was only to protect and preserve and to make sure that everything would go as planned, that the destiny that was set out for humans would follow through.

Well she was that until she was forced to drink the blood of a demon and then she was forced into a life of a mortal, her body was dying and she could feel every ounce of pain that was forced onto her, but she could never enter heaven and she was not welcome in hell, so that left her with only one-thing on her mind revenge for the son of a bitch who cursed her.

Keir could never forget Muriel, when he had forced a fallen angel to drink his blood he to had also changed was he a demon or was he an angel, for 5 years he had felt Muriel's pain, worse he had wanted her as his own. When he and a few of his friends walked into the diner where she worked, Muriel had known Keir as soon as he stepped through the doors and boy did she have a surprise for him. She had handcuffs that were spelled just for her so she could keep this soul sucking demon close to her and make him suffer as much as she did and then one day rip his heart right out of his chest.

So what do you do now that you have demon who forced his blood down your throat only to find out that he to has already suffered, after drinking Muriel's blood he becomes the first demon to have regrets and never wanting to claim another soul for hell, how do you persuade the angel he was bound to, that he is her protector and not her sworn enemy anymore. Because now things have changed in hell there is a new king who wants Keir's angel dead, all because of a new prophecy. Will both Muriel and Keir be able to defeat the king of hell or will they to perish like every other Demon and Fallen angel before them. Will the hell fire that burns inside her be enough?

Yes again I like to be vague of what I would let other readers know about this Mallory Crowe has done it again, she has left you with another complete paranormal romance that wont disappoint, trust me you can, you know.

Hot alpha demon vs fallen angel

I received this for an honest review. Another great paranormal book from Mallory Crowe. I really like the new series that Mallory is doing. You have demons, fallen angels, humans and other paranormal beings all in the mix. First you have have fallen angel Murial who gets cornered by demons & is almost dead. She thinks she'll die soon & then she'll get her angel wings back. Wrong! She ends up being force fed demon blood by Kier the demon. Since she has demon blood she has no chance of becoming an angel again. Years go by & she wants vengeance against Kier for taking her choice away. She comes up with a plan to trap him to her with magical handcuffs. Whatever happens to one person hurts the other. She doesn't think it all the way through. She will be with him 24/7. Showering, going to the bath etc is going to be lost of fun right? With a bounty on her head Kier tries to keep her safe. They avoid other demons trying to kill her so she can't bring a prophecy to fruition. She tries to avoid her feelings that she is starting to have for her demon. What happens when you have a demon & a fallen angel who wants revenge?

A classic work available again

In 1855 Franz Delitzsch published his original "System of Biblical Psychology". In 1861 he published a second, updated edition, and in 1866 it was translated from the German to English. This particular translation was first published in 1899 and this is the newest printing of that publication. From the beginning the reader must understand the word psychology as it is used within the work. Franz Delitzsch takes the position that the Bible provides an exhaustive examination of human nature. Throughout the stories, wisdom, and poetry is an account of human nature and how human act and react in various situations. With that in mind, an examination of the Bible shows a well-defined system of psychology, a complete treatise on human nature. As such, a study of Biblical psychology should have as its purpose to "bring out the views of Scripture regarding the nature, the life and life-destinies of the soul, as they are determined in the history of salvation".
Franz Delitzsch thoroughly examines this relationship between man and God, man and self, and man and his fellow man as viewed through the lens of the Bible. Major headings include pre-existence, creation, the fall, man's natural condition, the regeneration, death, and resurrection and consummation. The section on man's natural condition is particularly interesting. In it he discusses the personality, the soul, the powers of the soul, development of the threefold life, soul and blood, heart and head, health and sickness, natural and demoniacal sickness, and superstition and magic.
After each section Dr. Delitzsch included an appendix with appropriate information for that section. This is a nice touch as it provides the related information at the point in the book where it was studied. If you want to understand Biblical psychology as it was understood in the late 1800s you can't go wrong with this book. In a single volume it presents the complete understanding of the main-line theologians of the time and forms a solid basis for a historical study of Biblical psychology. This is a very highly recommended book for anyone interested in this area of study.

Good resources

The book is the foundation of reclaiming the term "psychology" to it's rightful place. It is fundamental for the study of the soul from a biblical perspective. We need biblical psychology back in the drivers seat!

This paperback version is VERY poor quality

The version by General Books looks like a computer ocr output which has not been edited. The first page has a number of typos in the first few lines. Many paragraphs start with a sentence fragment, suggesting that some text was lost.

I will be returning this book.

I suggest others look for a different version.

PreSchool-Grade 1-While playing house, Erik is prompted by a questioning friend to ask his mother if he has a daddy. She tells him that he had a daddy in the beginning but that he left. She further explains that some parents get married and take care of their children together, but that she and Erik's father never married because they were so young. Erik's mother emphasizes how much she wanted him and how excited his daddy was when he was born. The story ends with the boy's mother reminding him of the important role his uncle and grandfather play in his life. The text is written in a positive and nurturing manner, and lets children know that there are many different types of family situations. An informative section for single parents on ways they can deal with this issue follows the story. The illustrations are somewhat stiff and amateurish, but do an adequate job of visualizing the text for young children. This book should have a place in libraries, counselors' offices, and social workers' collections.

She answers his difficult question and others by explaining that there are different kinds of daddies, and Erik's was too young to take on the responsibilities of marriage. She reassures him that she will always be there for him and urges him to spend time with his uncle and grandpa who love him. Following the story is a section devoted to single parents, which, although seemingly geared toward less-experienced single parents, provides good tips for any single parent handling similar questions and emphasizes the importance of being honest and positive. my daughters favorite

If you are a single mom or dad raising your child alone this book will definitely be helpful for both of you.
It is my daughters favourite book for bed time reading. Written in such a simple manner it was easy for me to simultaniously translate and make it interesting in my language. It gave her a feeling that she is not the only kid living alone with mommy and gave her courage to ask more detailed questions while listening.
The sections for adults helped me more then all the other books written exclusively for single moms and dads.
If you are not certain, buy the book and will not regret it.

This book is good for some situations, but it is not appropriate for planned single parent families, i.e. through donor insemination or adoption. More specifically, it is designed for talking about why the man who fathered you is not here, not for talking about why I chose to start a family with you without a father.

no dad in the family

this is a pretty good book dealing with the subject of a child not having a dad in his life. The only thing I really didn't like is that the story starts out with the child being teased about not having a dad, and I wouldn't like to put that idea into a child's mind if it had not happened yet. But overall, a helpful book to open the discussion.
