About the Author
Joel Comiskey (Ph.D. Fuller Seminary) is an internationally recognized cell church coach and consultant and founder of Joel Comiskey Group. He has served as a missionary with the C&MA in Quito, Ecuador, started a cell-based church in Southern CA, and now coaches pastors in cell group ministry. Joel has written bestselling books on the worldwide cell group movement and teaches as an adjunct professor at Tozer Seminary. Joel and his wife, Celyce, have three daughters and live in Moreno Valley , California.

Dr. Comiskey has provided us with significant and thorough research. Timely, well-written, sequential & interesting, 2000 Years of Small Groups provides the history and documentation needed to understand the current movement of cell groups affecting the church worldwide. This excellent book will be used for training and equipping the body. For students of the cell movement, it is a MUST.
